Job summary
Arkansas Hospice, Inc. is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing interventions and supportive care in patient homes on weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays. You will work with the interdisciplinary team following the hospice plan of care.
Requires BSN preferred, AR RN license, and at least 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in hospice/home health. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to patient homes.
Qualifications
- Education: RN with Arkansas license; BSN preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years nursing; at least 1 year in hospice or home health.
- Licensure: Arkansas RN license.
- Must work rotating schedule 7 of 14 days; 80-hour pay period; valid driver's license, car, and car insurance.
Responsibilities
- Assumes weekends, evenings, nights and holiday on-call duty as scheduled.
- Manages care for home-based patients following the nursing process.
- Communicates changes to attending physicians and Medical Director.
- Maintains up-to-date patient records in the EMR.
