Circle of Life is seeking a licensed RN to join our hospice care team based in Northwest Arkansas or NE Oklahoma. You will make home visits, coordinate with physicians, and support patients and families in a 1:1 setting with meaningful, compassionate care.
Responsibilities include patient visits, triage of calls, assisting with admissions, and documentation in electronic charting. The role offers night differential, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.
This position will be based out of a facility in Northwest Arkansas or NE Oklahoma. Will make home hospice nursing visits as needed and in rotation with other teammates. Hospice nursing provides a meaningful connection with patients and families. Our nurses take their time and have incredible amounts of 1:1 time to coach and educate patients and families in our care. The RN is an integral part of the hospice interdisciplinary care team and as such is responsible for providing patient care visits, assessing medical needs, liaising with physicians, attending deaths, triage calls, and assisting with the admission process. The RN must have an understanding that hospice care must be delivered according to accepted standards of practice, guided by the mission of the organization and the patient/family's needs and concerns, the RN blends all services of the hospice into an integrated program of support.
Current unrestricted AR, OK, or compact RN license, BLS certification, strong assessment skills with critical thinking and high level of problem solving within a healthcare facility. Strong documentation and communication with the ability to stay calm and cope with human suffering/emergencies. Prefer hospice experience, home health, or acute care nursing experience with computer charting experience.
