Alive Hospice, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Call Center in Nashville. This full-time, after-hours role supports patients and families via triage and telephone guidance, and may include dispatching on-call nurses for in-home visits.

The RN role emphasizes compassionate, clinically appropriate triage and coordination of care. The position requires an active Tennessee RN license and at least one year of nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
• Hospice, Oncology, Home Health, or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn hospice philosophy and care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform after-hours triage using nursing judgment to assess patient needs and determine interventions.
• Receive and manage after-hours calls, providing clinical guidance, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
• Plan care interventions and dispatch on-call nurses for in-person visits when needed.
• Provide in-home nursing visits as dictated by patient need, workload, or staffing availability.
