Job summary

Lincare is the nation's leading provider of oxygen, durable medical equipment, and clinical respiratory services. We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team, delivering home medical equipment and educating patients on proper use.

As a Delivery Driver, you will follow orientation checklists, adhere to routes, maintain a safe driving record, inspect vehicles, and support patients and staff. A High School diploma and driving experience are required; health-care background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-delivered vehicle, ensuring safety during loading and unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address patient medical emergencies according to company and local policies.
