Job summary

Lincare is the nation’s leading provider of oxygen, durable medical equipment, and clinical respiratory services. We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team, ensuring safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to our patients, also providing equipment setup and educating patients on the proper use of equipment.

As a member of the delivery team you will follow patient orientation checklists, adhere to routes and schedules, maintain a safe vehicle, and establish

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role; home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds; able to perform physical tasks and operate equipment safely.
• Valid Driver's License required and DOT/FMC regulations knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse; follow FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends to address patient medical emergencies.
