Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the classroom teacher.
• Provide instruction and learning activities based on the teacher's plans and school expectations.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
• Supervise students and reinforce behavior expectations.
• Take accurate attendance and maintain classroom records.
• Monitor student engagement and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain classroom routines and procedures throughout the day.
• Communicate relevant student concerns to school staff.
• Follow school policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Assist with transitions and supervision duties as needed.
• Leave the classroom organized and communicate important information to the returning teacher.
• Participate in required training and meetings as assigned.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance when accepting an assignment.
