Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor I for Shasta Villas, Chowchilla, CA. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, supervise staff, and ensure property condition aligns with ownership goals.

The role includes hands-on work, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with contractors to meet standards. The position offers a structured schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with on-call availability for urgent needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• A current driver’s license in good standing and ability to meet driving records standards.
• CAMT certification.
• Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage and work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the maintenance operation at the property on a day-to-day basis as a working supervisor.
• Supervise maintenance staff at the property and coordinate service requests with vendors.
• Maintain the preventive maintenance program and review third-party inspections.
• Prepare work schedules for the maintenance team and solicit bids with approval.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and on-call emergencies.
• Complete hands-on maintenance activities.
