Job summary

Foundation Partners is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist to serve families with compassion while coordinating the transfer of decedents from hospitals, nursing homes, or residences to the funeral home. The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, a valid driver's license, and a calm, professional demeanor.

Must be able to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. You will support staff and may assist with washing vehicles or other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs safely.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Composure and compassion.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and receive/apply constructive feedback with a positive attitude.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to families as the first point of contact during transfer of the decedent.
• Safely transport decedents, navigating local roads and changing conditions with GPS/direction apps.
• Be available for irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and fill in for other staff as needed.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Receive and execute multiple tasks in the correct order with clear instructions.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and perform related duties as required.
