Restaurant Associates is seeking an on-call FLEX CULINARY WORKER for the Washington, DC area. The role requires previous large-volume cooking experience and offers hourly pay between $23.00 and $25.00.

Location: DC Flex Worker Pool – 2700 F Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20566. Schedule: On call; days and hours may vary. Applications accepted online only. This position supports our dining and event catering services for museums, performing arts centers, and corporations.

Qualifications

• Previous large-volume cooking experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the right temperature and appealing.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety, stores excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
