Job summary

Horner Industrial Group is seeking a Field Services Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment at customer sites. The role involves diagnosing issues, collecting data, and performing tests with appropriate tools and instruments.

The position requires work at multiple customer locations with overtime and 24/7 call availability, and a baseline high school education with related training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; electrical/mechanical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements in various units.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions; work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment per customer orders.
• Use testing equipment and record testing information on forms.
• Identify failure causes and advise on required parts or materials.
• Complete final testing and documentation and return to the Field Service office.
• Travel to multiple customer locations and work overtime; 24/7 call availability as needed.
