Job summary

Motion Industries in Lafferty, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service, diagnostics, repair and installation of hydraulics and related equipment under direct supervision. You will respond to on-call emergencies, install and service equipment at customer sites, and communicate issues clearly to customers and internal teams.

Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work effectively with customers, peers and management to resolve client issues.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose problems with equipment, assess extent, document findings, and decide on repair or part replacement.
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations and modifications per customer specs.
Keeps customers informed on service status and recommends enhancements, upgrades or repairs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
