Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to install and service equipment at customer sites. You will be part of a service team, responding to calls, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment uptime.

Responsibilities include on-call rotations, inventory management, and completing service documentation. A High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver license are required, with 6 months to 1 year of equipment sales or maintenance experience valued.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining equipment and performing routine preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer calls for service within 2 hours; on-call 24 hours per day within own territories.
• Maintains vehicle parts inventory and performs annual and monthly inventories.
• Installs and/or removes equipment at customer sites (dishwashers, dispensing equipment, beverage machines).
• Keeps service reports and equipment transfer sheets; handles billing and price lists as needed.
• Gains and responds to sales leads; adheres to company policies and standards.
