Job summary

ICF seeks on-call field Archaeologists for several upcoming projects to assist with survey and excavation field work throughout the southeastern United States. We are seeking Field Technicians, Crew Chiefs, and Field Directors.

This on-call arrangement means hours vary by project; local Southeast candidates are preferred; a valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Willingness to work in remote field locations in the Southeast.
• Experience with archaeological survey and excavation in the Southeast preferred.
• Proficiency with GPS technologies and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and field-note recording skills.
