Responsibilities include basic electrical/plumbing work, fire panel monitoring, and on-call coverage. Requires boiler certification, valid driver’s license, and strong maintenance background in commercial settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Boiler Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License to travel between county buildings.
• Knowledge of water softeners and testing needed.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge for daily ops.
• Knowledge of appliances (commercial/residential).
• Ability to operate tools and equipment (see list).
• Basic computer skills to update controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on air handling units, boilers and appliances.
• Repair plumbing issues including drains, valves and water heaters.
• Maintain water softeners, heaters, coils and related equipment.
• Handle basic electrical/control duties and monitor fire panel.
• Travel to other county buildings for maintenance tasks.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
