Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker for Liberty Cares at Cary, NC. The role involves maintaining facility equipment, HVAC filter changes, safety monitoring, and completing work orders and billing forms.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting TVs, grounds and interior cleanliness, and performing minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs. On-call, weekend rotations, and possible odd hours are required; driving license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Knowledge of general maintenance.
• Willing to work every other weekend with rest days off during week.
• Must carry phone and respond to maintenance needs when on call.
• Must be willing to work odd hours if emergency arises.
• Must read, know and follow personnel, department and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Services facility equipment per schedules.
• Changes HVAC filters per schedule.
• Monitors equipment safety and repairs as needed.
• Completes resident personal work orders and completes billing form.
• Connects and troubleshoots TV and cable issues.
• Monitors grounds per schedule and assures cleanliness.
• Monitors interior of community daily and assures cleanliness.
• Performs minor carpentry repairs (painting, sheetrock repair, furniture).
• Performs minor electrical repairs (replace receptacle, bulbs, fixtures, wiring/cord setup, clean fixtures).
• Performs minor plumbing repairs (wax gasket, unclog toilets, repair faucets, ice machine filters, toilet parts, drains, shower head).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
