Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Lumberton, NC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain the facility, grounds and equipment. You will support safety and cleanliness across the campus and perform preventive tasks as scheduled.

The role requires HVAC experience, basic carpentry/electrical/plumbing ability, and familiarity with a work order system. A valid NC driver’s license and reliable availability for weekend calls are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with basic technical skills.
• Valid NC Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience with HVAC preferred; strong troubleshooting ability.
• Basic computer skills for trouble-shooting and work order entry.
• Willing to respond to maintenance calls on a weekend cycle.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility, grounds and equipment.
• Performs minor repairs and assists with hazards removal.
• Monitors whirlpool lift; services as needed.
• Lubricates wheelchairs and performs small repairs.
• Cleans equipment components and filters as scheduled.
• Maintains bedrails, tables, and other fixtures for safety.
• Handles basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Responds to maintenance calls and uses work order software.
