Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management Blowing Rock, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the facility, grounds, and equipment. You will perform minor repairs, monitor safety hazards, and keep surfaces clean and organized, supporting patients and staff.

The ideal candidate has HVAC experience, a high school diploma, a valid NC driver's license, and basic computer skills to operate the work order system. Some weekend on-call is required, with flexibility for odd hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Valid NC Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of general maintenance.
• Experience in HVAC.
• General computer knowledge for trouble-shooting and computer based work order system.
• Willing to respond to maintenance call every fourth weekend.
• Willing to work odd hours if emergency arises.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility, grounds and equipment.
• Performs minor repairs and assists in keeping facility free of hazards.
• Monitors whirlpool lift and services as needed.
• Lubricates wheelchairs and makes minor repairs.
• Cleans casters and filters on equipment per schedule.
• Monitors bedrails and repairs as needed.
• Ensures dining room tables are level at all times.
• Hangs pictures and connects TVs for patients as needed.
• Monitors downspouts, roof and maintenance shop for cleanliness.
• Repairs sheetrock as needed.
• Performs minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs.
