Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting seeks a maintenance technician for a Fort Myers property. The role performs routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, interiors and exteriors, and coordinates urgent repairs with vendors under supervision of the Chief Engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor.

The position requires ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes, lift up to 30 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, and complete work orders in the KWPMC system.

Qualifications

• Two years of general maintenance or related building trades experience.
• Ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes and after-hours calls may be required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors for non-routine repairs.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and service logs.
• Inspect mechanical systems and respond to safety concerns.
• Assist with minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Complete work orders using the KWPMC system.
• Report issues to the Maintenance Manager or Property Manager.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
