Restaurant Associates is seeking On Call Event Catering Wait Staff for Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. The role requires weekend, night, and holiday availability and on-call scheduling for on-site events.

Responsibilities include assembling, delivering, setting up and serving food and beverages, with a focus on banquet service, display, and cleanup. Previous banquet experience is preferred; training is available.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet experience preferred; willing to train.
• Must meet applicable state and local health requirements for food handlers.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils.
• Returns unserved foods and equipment to the commissary.
• Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively.
• Handles display foods appropriately during preparation.
• Serves plated dinners to guests and responds to beverage requests.
• Cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Assists with food and table prep before events begin.
