Job summary

UCLA Lab School is seeking a Substitute Teacher (Non-Senate) to maintain continuity in instruction and support students when teachers are absent. This role includes serving as an English Language or Dual Language substitute to provide instructional support.

The position focuses on implementing lesson plans, sustaining classroom routines, and engaging learners while collaborating with staff and instructional leaders. Open to on-call assignments with ongoing review through December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent required.
• Experience working in a classroom setting.
• Experience with pre-K–6 education preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and communicate well.
• Proficient with teaching aids and lesson implementation.
• Fingerprint and TB clearance required; mandated reporter awareness.
