Job summary

West River Health Services in Hettinger, ND is seeking an EMS Driver to assist with delivery of quality patient care in the pre-hospital setting. No experience is required—the hospital provides training; shifts run 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with on-call and callback pay when activated.

Responsibilities include safely driving the ambulance to scenes and the hospital, assisting EMTs and Paramedics with patient care, and helping restock and clean the ambulance after each run.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record and no DUI or felony convictions.
• BLS certification; WRHS can provide training.
• Must be able to go "en route" within 10 minutes of page-out; on-call housing provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the ambulance to and from scenes and the hospital.
• Assist EMTs and Paramedics with patient care as directed.
• Support ambulance restocking and cleanliness after runs.
