Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Bowman Ambulance is seeking an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)/EMT/Paramedic to deliver rapid pre-hospital care. You will respond to calls, assess patients, and provide essential life support and transport when needed.

Candidates must hold EMT or Paramedic certification, have a North Dakota driver's license with clean record, and demonstrate calm, clear communication. This role includes weekend and holiday shifts and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification (position dependent).
• ND driver's license with clean record.
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and equipment.
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide EMS care.
• Assess patient conditions and determine treatment.
• Administer life support as certified.
• Transport patients and maintain care en route.
• Document patient care reports accurately.
• Operate EMS equipment like defibrillators and oxygen.
• Communicate with hospital staff and responders.
• Follow EMS protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training.
