Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking experienced On-Call Emergency Managers to support disaster recovery operations across the United States. You will lead teams, deploy to field sites or Emergency Operations Centers, and manage documentation, funding, and compliance for complex recovery projects.

The role is not full-time and is project-dependent, with travel on short notice. Candidates must be able to deploy nationwide and work extended hours as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in emergency management or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
• Familiar with FEMA Public Assistance and grant processes is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee disaster recovery operations for assigned clients across all phases.
• Deploy to emergency operations centers or field sites as needed.
• Supervise recovery staff, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Oversee grant management, documentation, and compliance.
• Manage a portfolio of recovery projects from initiation to closeout.
• Provide client relationship leadership and act as a trusted advisor.
