Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, St. Ann Adult Day Service, seeks a Driver to transport participants safely and on schedule, following routing instructions and safety protocols. The role emphasizes careful driving, passenger assistance, and timely reporting of issues.

The position is on-call/PRN, requires a valid Maryland driver’s license, at least 2 years of driving experience, and the ability to meet DOT Medical Certificate and First Aid/CPR requirements within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Certificate required
• First Aid/CPR within 30 days from hire
• Must be at least 21 years old with 2+ years driving experience and a valid state license
• No more than three points on driving record

Responsibilities

• Safely transports participants to and from the facility on schedule
• Follows routing information and reports delays or issues promptly
• Assists passengers boarding and alighting, uses seat belts and safety equipment
• Monitors participants for changes and reports observations after trips
• Inspects vehicle and maintains logs and incident reports
• Performs pre-trip vehicle inspections and reports safety concerns
• Ensures compliance with safety protocols and infectious disease measures
• Performs additional duties as assigned
