Job summary

Paylocity in Michigan is seeking a PRN Driver to transport clients to and from the Adult Day Services Program. You will assist passengers with disabilities, manage wheelchair loading/unloading, and ensure proper restraint procedures are followed.

Schedule varies by program needs. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, maintaining vehicle readiness, and providing excellent customer service in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
• Responsible and able to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Chauffeur’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from the Adult Day Services Program.
• Assist passengers with disabilities, load/unload wheelchairs, and secure them properly.
• Work with a PRN schedule that varies by program needs.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and basic building maintenance as needed.
• Maintain cooperative work relationships and work with minimal supervision.
• Exercise sound judgment in emergencies and assist confused clients as they enter/exit vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Driver's primary responsibility is to transport clients to and from the Adult Day Services Program. Requirements

Duties And Responsibilities:

· Have a high school diploma or GED

· Demonstrate experience and interest in working with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s Disease, or other related dementias, cognitive impairments, and physical disabilities.

· Must be responsible and work well with others from diverse backgrounds.

· Ability to complete multiple duties and tasks efficiently without being prompted.

· Be willing to complete and display competency in all necessary training requirements related to your position.

· Oversee vehicle maintenance.

· Occasional building maintenance.

· Maintain cooperative work relationships.

· Able to work with a minimum of supervision.

· Ability to exercise sound judgment in emergencies

· Assisting confused clients to and from the vehicle.

· Ability to successfully complete a certified first aid and CPR class and to correctly apply training to clients as required.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Must have valid, suitable driving record and ability to Adhere to Use of Company Vehicle policy/procedure.

· Excellent customer service skills; ability to successfully interact with employees/vendors/contractors and clients/participants.

· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work from heights; climb ladders frequently kneel bend and twist

Minimum Education and Experience:

· Have a high school diploma or GED

· Demonstratable aptitude in working with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s Disease, or other related dementias, and cognitive impairments.

· Must be responsible and work well with others.

· Experienced in working with the elderly, handicapped or dementia patients is preferred.

· Ability to complete multiple duties and tasks correctly and on time without being prompted.

· Chauffeurs License

· CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain.
