Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support our Disaster Recovery team across the United States. This on-call role documents damages to public infrastructure and facilities to support funding determinations and recovery planning.

Inspectors will work with applicants, engineers, and project managers, performing field and desktop assessments, collecting photos and measurements, and coordinating with stakeholders. Flexible assignments may be field-based, remote, or hybrid.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mobile data collection apps, and cloud-based information systems.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of facilities and infrastructure impacted by disasters.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, and utilities for recovery funding.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions for reporting.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain project records.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and maintain professional conduct.
