Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery efforts across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role involves field, remote, or hybrid work depending on client needs and project requirements.

Inspectors document damages to public infrastructure, help with funding determinations, and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and recovery specialists. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of inspection-related experience, strong data collection skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile data collection apps.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities and infrastructure.
• Document damages to buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other facilities for recovery funding.
• Coordinate site visits with facility representatives, local government staff, and stakeholders.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through inspection/documentation activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure quality control of reports.
