Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role may involve field, remote, or hybrid assignments depending on client and project requirements.

As a Site Inspector, you will document damages to public infrastructure and facilities, collect data, coordinate with applicants and stakeholders, support FEMA PA and other programs, and maintain reports in accordance with QA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building inspection, construction, facility assessment, or related fields.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field-based data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mobile data collection apps, cloud-based systems, and mobile devices.
• Ability to travel on short notice as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and damage assessments of facilities and infrastructure.
• Capture photos, measurements, observations, and site conditions for recovery funding.
• Develop clear site inspection reports and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and communicate inspection needs.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.
• Maintain safety and professional standards on all assignments.
