Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call role involves field, remote, or hybrid work depending on client needs.

You will document damages to infrastructure, assist in funding determinations, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to support recovery planning and reporting. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in related fields, strong data collection and communication skills, and are

Qualifications

• 2+ years in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile data collection tools.
• Ability to travel on short notice.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of facilities and infrastructure.
• Document disaster-related damages to public buildings, roads, utilities, and other facilities.
• Capture photographs, measurements, and observations for recovery funding programs.
• Develop clear and comprehensive site inspection reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and track inspections through management systems.
