Tetra Tech, Inc. is expanding our Disaster Recovery team with experienced Site Inspectors to support federal disaster recovery programs across the United States.

This on-call, as-needed role may involve field, remote, or hybrid work depending on client needs and project requirements. As a Site Inspector, you will document disaster-related damages to public infrastructure, support funding determinations, and contribute to recovery planning efforts while collaborating with engineers, architects,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building inspection, construction, or related field experience.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities and infrastructure.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other facilities.
• Capture photos, measurements, observations, and site conditions for recovery funding.
• Develop clear site inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with applicants, engineers, and project managers to support recovery planning.
• Perform virtual inspections using photos, videos, and available documentation when needed.
