Job summary

Right-Now Restoration of Seattle LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform on-site mitigation tasks for water, fire, mold, and other environmental losses. The role involves field assessments, equipment operation, and close client communication.

The position requires physical labor, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Training and growth opportunities are available as the company expands nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT) are a plus or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Willingness to obtain training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged properties to identify scope of work.
• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and moisture mapping.
• Assist with mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanup.
• Maintain accurate documentation (photos, readings, notes).
• Set up and monitor equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA).
• Coordinate with team and project managers for timely completion.
• Follow safety standards and PPE requirements.
