Job summary

Ultipro is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for on-call, part-time roles with one shift per pay period and occasional 1:1 weekend support (roughly 12pm-4pm). The position is hourly, with program rates of $18.00–$21.00/hour (higher with experience/education/certifications) and a night rate of $11.41/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Clear criminal background clearance required.
• Active U.S. drivers license that meets company criteria.
• High School proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and mobility support.
• Medication Administration Training completed as provided by Thomas Allen inc.

Responsibilities

• Implement person-centered supports to help individuals achieve goals.
• Foster positive interactions with individuals, peers, family, and the community.
• Document activities, services, and progress per policies and regulations.
• Assist with medical needs, accompany to appointments, administer medication and provide personal cares.
• Promote community integration and socialization through leisure activities.
• Assist with financial tasks and budgeting for cost-effective purchases.
• Attend trainings and review training materials.
• Coordinate meal preparation respecting dietary needs and safety protocols.
• Handle incidents and emergencies with sound judgment and prioritize safety.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
