Job summary

Ingleside at Rock Creek is hiring On Call Dining Servers to provide table service in our senior living community in Northwest Washington, DC. The role includes room setup, serving residents, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of dining room experience, and proficiency with Meal Tracker. This is an on-call, on-site position with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of dining room service experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning methods.
• Proficient in Meal Tracker computer application.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room tables, chairs, and buffet areas according to standards.
• Greet residents and guests, take orders, and serve meals in a courteous manner.
• Prepare drinks and assist with meal service during peak times.
• Ensure accurate charging in the computer system and proper documentation.
