Job summary

Green Palms Management is seeking a Dietary Aide for on-call (PRN) shifts with day and evening options. You will assist the Dietitian/Director of Food Services, help deliver trays, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and follow safety protocols.

Must read/write English and work well in a team, with willingness to adapt to scheduling needs. Responsibilities include serving meals per portion control, maintaining appetizing presentation, and supporting daily cleaning tasks and inventory.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists in serving meals and ensuring portion control.
• Delivers snacks and meals as directed and helps with setup of meal trays and dining areas.
• Keeps kitchen and storage areas clean following established policies and procedures.
• Performs daily cleaning duties and sanitizes work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators, and utensils.
• Maintains safe, hazard-free work areas and assists with inventory of incoming food and supplies.
