Job summary

Morrison Living is hiring an on-call Diet Clerk to support patient menu management and diet office functions under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager.

Responsibilities include distributing menus, assisting patients with selections, and planning menus per diet guidelines. The role requires hospitality experience and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards; hours may vary with an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects menus.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections in accordance with prescribed diet.
• Offers alternatives to menu in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Plans regular and modified menus based on the current diet manual.
• Prepares and distributes supplements and enteral formulas as needed.
• May handle preparation, distribution, inventory and management of human/donor milk and/or infant formula.
