Job summary

Lithia Ford of Klamath Falls is seeking an on-call Dealer Trade Driver. This role pays $16.00 per hour and has no guaranteed hours. You will be responsible for inspecting traded vehicles, ensuring paperwork consistency, and coordinating with management on any issues.

A valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required. The position requires the ability to tow flat bed trailers, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication to document and track vehicle trades

Qualifications

• Must be able to tow a flat bed trailer.
• High attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and accurate data entry into tracking system.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensures VINs and stock numbers match paperwork for each vehicle.
• Ensures dealer invoices accompany paperwork for each vehicle.
• Ensures traded vehicle is clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
• Notify GSM or Manager on duty if damage is found on traded vehicle.
• All reference guides, keys, wheel locks, etc., accompany traded vehicles and are delivered to the manager when trade is complete.
• Newly traded vehicles must be thoroughly inspected before accepting delivery.
• If damage is found, contact GSM or Manager before leaving the lot.
• Note missing items (keys, books, wheel locks, mats) and ensure they accompany the vehicle.
• Verify accessories listed are present on the vehicle.

• Must be able to tow flat bed trailer with company provided truck and trailer.

What You'll Do

• Ensures that vehicle identification numbers and stock number of each vehicle match paperwork.
• Ensure copies of dealer invoice accompany paperwork for each vehicle.
• Ensure that the vehicle being traded is clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
• Notify GSM or Manager on duty immediately if any damage is found on vehicle being traded.
• Ensure all reference guides, keys, wheel locks etc., accompany all traded vehicles and deliver this information to the appropriate manager when trade is complete
• Newly traded vehicles must be thoroughly inspected, inside and out, before accepting delivery from dealership.
• If damage is found (i.e. scratches, door dings etc.), contact GSM or Manager on duty before leaving their lot.
• DO NOT return with a damaged vehicle unless you have notified the GSM or Desk Manager.
• Note any missing keys, books, wheel locks, floor mats, etc.
• Make every effort to ensure these items accompany the appropriate vehicle.
• Always make sure accessories that are listed are in fact on the vehicle.
