Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an On-Call Custodian responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role requires following safety procedures and providing support to the team.

Key duties include janitorial tasks, hazardous waste handling, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining a professional work environment. On-call shifts are offered with a $19.20 hourly rate, reflecting local facilities services compensation.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license and safety/task training certification.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus and helpful for team communication.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and operate cleaning equipment.
• Follow the daily schedule and safety procedures.
• Handle hazardous waste tasks including collection, sorting, labeling and recycling.
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas and report hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with staff.
