Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks an on-site Custodian to support daily custodial maintenance at the North Island Janitorial contract in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include cleaning, restrooms, floors, and windows, with timely reporting of issues to the supervisor.

Requirements include basic hand/power tool knowledge, strong communication, organization, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. U.S. citizenship or residency and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

General knowledge of hand and power tools.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent organizational skills.
Mature judgment and ability to work with little or no supervision.
U.S. Citizen or legal resident alien.
Valid state driver’s license with excellent driving record.
Must be able to pass background investigation.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Task Order Manager, provide support for daily custodial maintenance and operation of facilities at the North Island Janitorial contract.
Perform a full range of custodial duties—care, maintenance, and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities.
Keep supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered.
