Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a custodial technician to support daily maintenance and cleaning at Naval Base Point Loma. You will perform a full range of custodial duties across facilities, keeping supervisors informed of any issues and ensuring safety and compliance with contract requirements.

The position is on-site in San Diego, CA, with hours that may include overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

6 months janitorial experience required.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Excellent organizational skills.
Mature judgment and ability to work with little supervision.
U.S. Citizen or legal residency.
Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Background check ability required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, strip and polish floors and equipment.
Replenish restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness of facilities.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Wash interior and exterior windows and mirrors; ladders may be used.
Empty and sanitize waste receptacles; move furniture as needed.
Identify and report maintenance needs in assigned buildings.
Perform specialized floor, wall, and ceiling restoration projects.
