Washington Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth (CDHY) in Vancouver, WA seeks an On-Call Custodian 2 to support cleaning across facilities. This on-call role has variable hours, with shifts potentially Monday–Friday and times from early morning to overnight.
The position requires a HS diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 30 lb regularly (50 lb occasionally), and basic computer skills. Applicants must pass background checks and be able to work independently or with a team.

Custodians work under the Custodial Lead and are responsible for cleaning buildings, classrooms, offices and restrooms. We are looking for a team player who enjoys cleaning, working around students and educational staff, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Position schedule: This is an on-call position and working hours are not guaranteed. This position could be scheduled Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, 10:00am-6:30pm, or 6:00pm-2:30am to cover for staff absences.

Salary is set using the State of Washington General government pay scales (Range 36).
Vacation and sick leave accrual, paid holidays, personal holiday, personal leave day and overtime eligible after 40 hours of work in a week.
