Qualifications

• Must be a high school student (14+) working toward a diploma.
• Strong communication, organizational, and listening skills.
• Calm, friendly demeanor with patience and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to accept supervision.
• Preferred experience in elderly care or hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the dining room for meals; serve residents and transport food.
• Set and clear tables, wash dishes, and clean spaces per schedule.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene, PPE use, hair covering, and hand protection.
• Report unsafe conditions and respond to alarms or emergencies.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-services.
• Assist with scheduled activities and events.
• Complete incident reports and uphold confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Follow Policies & Procedures and state regulations for assisted living.
