Job summary

Center for Community Resources, Inc. in Huntingdon, PA is seeking a compassionate Casual Mobile Crisis Worker to join our Huntingdon/Mifflin/Juniata team as an on-call Crisis Intervention Specialist.

The role includes mobile assessments, emergency services coordination, and crisis counseling to diverse community members. The on-call position requires availability for mornings/evenings and weekends, with base pay of $21.54/hour and on-call rate of $23/hour plus a $300 weekly incentive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of mental health experience.
• Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance verification.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and PA resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone and mobile crisis assessments and counseling.
• Coordinate emergency services and referrals to mental health resources.
• De-escalate crisis situations using approved techniques.
• Collaborate with local schools and providers as part of the CCR team.
