Job summary

Center for Community Resources in Somerset, PA seeks a Crisis Intervention Specialist for an evening shift (4pm–12am) with every other weekend. Responsibilities include crisis intervention via phone and mobile assessment, counseling, and linking clients to community resources in Bedford/Somerset Counties.

The role offers on-call duties with a stipend and a competitive benefits package. A Bachelor’s in a human services field is required, with relevant experience and clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major course work in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology or related field is required.
• One year experience in mental health field required.
• Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention via telephone and mobile assessments.
• Counsel and link clients to community resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Be flexible for evening shifts and on-call needs.
