Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year training experience with strong communication skills; familiarity with AV equipment.
• Licenses/Certificates: Current American Heart Association Instructor (BLS) and AHA healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

• Follows American Heart Association curriculum strictly when teaching CPR courses.
• Appraises student psychomotor skills and cognitive knowledge using standard methods.
• Provides ongoing positive and corrective feedback to core participants.
• Offers reasonable extra instruction to students who require additional help.
• Follows proper procedures for the set-up and dismantling of all course equipment.
• Operates audio-visual equipment successfully including DVD players and flat-screen monitors.
