Era Living is seeking an on‑call Cook for the University House Wallingford Community in Seattle, WA. This per‑diem role covers an employee leave of absence and is scheduled for 16 hours per week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM for August 2026.

After August 2026, this role will be per‑diem only and provided hours as needed. The Cook will follow menus and recipes to ensure each resident enjoys a memorable dining experience, while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire.
• Culinary knowledge & ability to perform routine food service functions.
• Proven ability to follow recipe preparation instructions and specific culinary procedures.
• Ability to distinguish smells, tastes and temperatures.
• Ability to adhere to strict established cleanliness standards.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Era Living is seeking an on‑call Cook to become the newest member of our Culinary Services team located in our University House Wallingford Community, Seattle, WA. To cover an employee leave of absence this per‑diem role will be scheduled for 16 hours per week – Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM – for the month of August 2026 only. After August 2026, this role will be per‑diem only and provided hours on an as needed basis.

• Culinary knowledge & ability to perform routine food service functions.

• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required.

Education and Experience:

• First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
