Job summary

Quail Park Memory Care of West Seattle is seeking a Cook to join our premiere senior living community. You will follow our recipes to prepare meals that are fresh, healthy, attractive and delicious, while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

You will contribute to a tasty dining experience for residents and families, support teammates, and ensure every plate meets the Quail Park quality and service expectations in a warm, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet health-related and food handling requirements.

Cook Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years applicable food service experience
• Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred
• Must have a strong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed customer expectations
• Must be able to read, comprehend, write and speak English to interpret menus and recipes and to communicate effectively with residents, families, other team members and vendors
• Must meet all health-related and food handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies
• Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials
• Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials
• Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal background check
