Job summary

Community Mental Health for Central Michigan is seeking a Community Supports Technician - Intermittent to monitor designated recipients remotely and respond to needs through verbal or arranged support. On-call shifts run 24/7, with coverage required across times and weekends.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and prior caregiving experience or group home training; basic first aid/CPR and medication administration training are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Courses: DCH Group Home Curriculum, basic first aid and CPR, medication administration and crisis avoidance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the health, safety, and security of recipients via electronic monitoring systems and responds to their needs verbally, in person, or by arranging the appropriate response.
• Provides direct care, intervention and support when face-to-face staff are not present in recipients' homes.
• Operates electronic monitoring systems and monitors for indications that support or intervention is needed.
