Washoe County School District is seeking an on-call Childcare Provider to supervise and care for students across school sites and community locations. Responsibilities include planning activities, supporting meals, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

On-call schedule may include evenings and weekends, with duties at multiple locations. The role requires a flexible schedule and CPR certification; a high school diploma is desirable and six months of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is desirable.
• Six (6) months of experience working with pre-school and school-age youth is desirable.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain a CPR Certification.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging activities for children.
• Prepare and distribute materials and set up audio-visual equipment.
• Supervise children in playgrounds, school halls, and libraries.
• Enforce school rules and maintain discipline in a fair and positive manner.
• Assist children with meals and refreshments; sanitation of toys and play equipment.
