Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theology, Religion, Spiritual Care or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of Spiritual Care experience, including CPE training.
• Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) strongly preferred; 4 ACPE units required with endorsements.
• Ability to plan, develop and implement programs to meet departmental objectives.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with clinical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide Spiritual Care within the local ministry addressing spiritual needs of patients, families and staff.
• Develop, conduct and participate in programs to promote spiritual care across the care continuum.
• Facilitate inclusion of faith leaders from churches, synagogues, mosques, and other communities as appropriate.
