MBK Senior Living in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a dedicated Caregiver-PRN (On Call). Open availability including weekends and holidays is required.

The role involves supporting residents with daily living activities, maintaining dignity, and delivering compassionate care within MBK's standards. Qualifications

• Age 18 or over with work permit as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Nurses Aid certification preferred
• Current first aid certification
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Health screening and negative TB test results within last 6 months or 7 days of employment
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but on-the-job training is available for candidates with the right attitude
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
• Must meet and maintain all state regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%)
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care (10%)
• Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing and hygiene (20%)
• Provide meal assistance and service at mealtimes (3%)
• Transport residents safely to meals and activities (3%)
• Perform regular safety checks on residents (1%)
• Encourage participation in daily activities (1%)
• Lead residents in meaningful activities (3%)
• Complete laundry and assist with other duties (1%)
• Manage oxygen tanks and MD orders as required (1%)
• Document information and report changes to supervisor (4%)
• Respond to resident alerts and emergencies as needed (3%)
• Ensure safety and comfort during drills (1%)
